The Tax Cure and Relief Foundation operates a Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic (LITC) that provides free or low-cost assistance to qualifying taxpayers who are experiencing problems with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
Our clinic helps individuals and families understand their rights and resolve tax disputes involving IRS audits, notices, and collection actions.
The Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic is funded in part by a grant from the Internal Revenue Service. The clinic is independent from the IRS and the views expressed do not necessarily reflect the views of the IRS.
Our Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic serves taxpayers whose household income is generally at or below 250% of the Federal Poverty Level and who are experiencing a tax issue with the IRS.
Eligibility is determined during our intake process.
